Celebrate! gives young audiences a glimpse into the different customs, celebrations and festivities enjoyed in Canada.

JUNO AWARD nominee Chris McKhool celebrates the multicultural mosaic of our country with songs about Bodhi Day (Buddhist), Carnival (Quebec), Chanukah, Chinese New Year, Christmas, Diwali, Halloween, Kwanzaa (Pan-African), Native Traditions, Ramadan, and Winter Solstice. Celebrate! is a window into many cultures from around the world and provides family audiences with a glimpse into the different customs, celebrations and festivities enjoyed in Canada.

Chris is hailed as a “Children’s musical star” (National Post) and “Canada’s greatest eco-troubadour for young people” (Mississauga Living Arts). Chris has been delighting audiences with infectious songs and exotic world instruments for over two decades, reaching over 1 million children. All of Chris’ shows feature original songs from his appearances on Mr. Dressup, YTV’s Treehouse, TVOntario and the CBC. (Chris, Kevin and Drew are also known for their work with Sultans of String)

Canada Day at Ontario Place

This Canada Day, Sunday, July 1, 2018, I’ll be performing my Earth, Seas & Air and Fiddlefire! shows at 2:00 PM and 4:15 PM at Ontario Place for their Music in Trillium Park Series. Bring the kids and come on out and celebrate Canada’s birthday with me! 🇨🇦


New Year’s Eve in Barrie!

I am excited to be bringing in 2018 for the kids in Barrie on New Year’s Eve!  We play at 7:00 PM!

There will be two shows each set off from Heritage Park and the rooftop of City Hall – the first following the family celebration and the second at midnight to ring in 2018!
The City of Barrie is excited to host an awesome evening of live entertainment featuring a special performance and early countdown for families, a local band, a Canadian headliner, a midnight countdown, fireworks, and more.

FREE Family Friendly Concert with Chris McKhool!

Please join us, and invite your family, friends and neighbours, for a special concert on Saturday, May 27th at 5 p.m. Canadian violinist, guitarist, composer, producer, singer-songwriter and Juno award nominee Chris McKhool will perform with special guest woodwind player Ernie Tollar.
Chris gets families singing, dancing and clapping along as we celebrate with our neighbours and friends!
A special craft and kid-friendly meal will follow the concert.
